Comming days of development
As people begin downloading, and working on my sandbox with me, weather it be testing, adding missing code, fixing issues... i thought i would update on what I will be doing the comming day's with regard to the code.
- I am creating two new projects
which will both for now only rely on Rainbow.Settings ( which will eventually be disolved )
- Rainbow.Framework.Core - will hold a bunch of the configuration and other code and name spaces, such as global enums (WorkFlowVersion) and other things that restrict certain pieces of code from being logically moved
- Rainbow.Framework.Data - i am hopping that i can move all the xxxxDB.cs files to here, as well as the Database and helper code, but this is proving to not be so easy so far.
- Creating new code for the countries and states problem to correct the registration and profile issues. Since Ace informed me both lists are in the DB this should prove to be a much easier task than I originally tought. It will take some time, becuase I think esperantus had some logic on localizing the country lists, I am not sure yet, nevertheless since noone volunteered, I will have to do this, since I need to fix registrations for www.jonavi.com and www.rainbowbeta.com
- Ace mentioned he might be able to change the procomipled solution a bit to clean things up and make my sandbox a lot smaller
- Hoping to improve the code documentationm folder and package, and provide and online copy via www.rainbowbeta.com
- Hoping to see more activity from people helping to stabilize and fix issues in the solution to push it to dev quicker.
As always I will continue updating infrormation on my blogs, site, forums and commit logs (commit logs are probably the most improtant for the developers, as they represent actual chagnes).
