Professional Designers Needed.
One of our biggest consumer base will be professional web designers who start out doing freelance work, and then later go on to build web design firms. These individuals are an essential group of people that make up the fabric of the internet economy.
Without these individuals, all the websites in the world would be derivatives of 5 or so templates that come with FrontPage. (I had to make fun of the product. It sucks.) I used to work at a web/graphics design firm which used DreamWeaver for a lot of their HTML, CSS, and content work. I have a feeling that it is still the dominant player in the web design market.
As we continue forward to build a commercial grade CMS, we need to partner with and get feedback from professional web designers that make sites for a living. Rainbow Lite will be meant for the masses, but because of it's hidden power, it also has the potential to become a crucial component of a web designer's toolkit.
If you are an independant web designer with some free time, we need you. We need you to understand your workflow. We need to talk to you about what you find frustrating while building web pages and how we can help you do it better, faster, cheaper.
If you own or work in a web design firm, we need you. We need feedback from what software is good, and what sucks. We want to produce a piece of software that you guys can use as part of your daily process and working with you will help this team do it.
Please contact me at rahul.singh[at]anant.us with your site URL, and a little about yourself and let's talk.
