friendly advice. never use "I have". looks like you are alone in community.

I appreciate the work everyone is doing, but we need to start focusing on quality before announcing new alpha releases.  I installed this on an existing database and on a new database.  I have the same issues on both:

Page Management
- Administration > Pages > Add New Page -  Seems to add page correctly using Default layout and theme, but not with the default zen-3col-hmenu and default zen theme.  It appears page is added to the database but will not display in the zen fly-out menus.  If you switch to Default layout and add the page and then switch back to zen layout, you can then see the added sub-pages.

- Administration > Page Manager - Same issue.

User Management

- Administration > Users > User Add/Delete/Edit - Can't change admin email or password.  There's Javascript error on the page using either Default layout or Zen layout and changes are not submitted or saved.

Site Settings and Module Setting

- Changed to FCKEditor 2 in site settings.  FreeTextBox still appears in HTML module edit window even though FCKEditor 2 is selected in the module settings.

Personally, I think these kind of issues need to be fixed before anything else is done.  Alpha releases are supposed to be basically functional.  I think this is pre-alpha code and needs to be cleaned up before trying to add major things such as aspnetdb functionality such as membership (which is one of the reasons I've been holding off).

Also, why are we releasing alpha code that hasn't made it through devint and test???  Anyway, thanks for everyone's hard work!!!

I have yesterday installed 3.1 (rarred version) and found out that magic ajax in my modules dont work anymore, does anyone have a clue what can be causing "Unable to find script library..." message?

I really appreciate all the work you guys put together to get this portal to work on 2.0 platform. Thank you!

please point me to place where i am suggesting using zen as "depended upon". i have said that until rainbow 2.0 is stable enought and until there is replacement for poor menu solutions in classic themes and until there are themes/skins/master pages/ i am going to use zen in my sites. zen was thirdparty (in meaning it was an extension) since jeremy started it. not long before rb2006 we switched default to rb2006. issue in zen is resolved and it was due to slash in menu soon after we released rb2006 rc. i don't like zen only because ie7 scriptes and ie issues (ie is 80% dominant on market). i have seen that someone proposed better layout using css and looks good. i think jeremy wrote once about it, but mentioned it would be difficult to implement.

btw. it's not master pages, it's not themes and skins or zen or classic. it's layout. more powerfull layout and page controll more powefull portal/cms. how complex layout you can build? that's the question. we should bear that in mind while we thinking about how to implement master pages/skins/themes.
