    Problem with workflow

    Hi.

I have a problem with Rainbow Portal. Maybe it is not a problem, it is just me since I'm new of Rainbow.
When I enable the workflow, the module (e.g. Documents, Announcements, etc) doesn't work anymore.
More precisely, the icon that permit to add new content disappear. So, it is impossible for example to add a new document or a new announcement.

    Any suggestion?

    Many thanks,
    M.S.

IF you enable workflow, are you still assigning all the proper permissions for who can
    add/edit, approve, decline, etc...?

    Re: Problem with workflow

    It's strange,

I have the same problem, If I enable the workflow in document, I'm not able to add document.

If I disable the workflow, when I add a document, I have this error ??

For example I try to add the document c:\temp\readme.txt

    I receive :
    Created by on
    Invalid file name!
Access to the path "D:\www\Rainbow\Portals\_Rainbow\Documents\readme.txt" is denied.

    Thanks.

    Cyril.

    Re: Problem with workflow

    Hi,

Got the the same issue. I've enabled the Workflow for the Documents Module, I've set which users have the right to add/edit/delete documents and which users are allowed to publish/approve documents.

I can add documents to the repository, the trick to get passed the Access denied error was to check the Save files in the database checkbox in the basic settings page of the Documents module.

The problem now is that when I try to send a request for approval I get a weird error and I don't know why. The Workflow module works for ExtendedHTML module so I figure it must be something with the Documents module.

I'm using Rainbow 1.5, just installed it.

    Anyone any suggestion?
